In the field of precious metal recovery, extracting gold from antimony anode mud has both economic value and technical challenges. In the raw material pretreatment stage, the antimony anode mud enters the suction mud tank for preliminary collection and storage, and then is sent to the vacuum filtration link together with the filtrate through the negative pressure generated by the vacuum system to separate solids and liquids, remove some impurities and moisture, and improve the efficiency of subsequent processing.
In the pulping and chlorination link, the antimony anode mud after filtration enters the pulping machine to form a slurry material, which has good fluidity. Then it enters the chlorination kettle and reacts with the chlorinating agent at a specific temperature and pressure to convert gold and other valuable metals into soluble chlorides. The chlorinated liquid is vacuum filtered again to separate the solid residue and the gold-containing chlorinated liquid.
After the chlorinated liquid is purified, it enters the four-stage gold extraction link, which is one of the core steps. We use advanced extraction technology and efficient extractants to selectively extract gold. The four-stage countercurrent extraction can improve the extraction rate, reduce the consumption of extractants, and the recycling of the raffinate can reduce costs.
When gold is further purified and recovered, the gold-containing organic phase undergoes secondary washing to remove impurities, then electrolyzes the gold to precipitate at the cathode, and finally uses a vacuum casting machine to cast it into 99.9% high-purity gold ingots.
