The rectangular aluminum melting furnace is a highly efficient, energy-saving furnace developed for aluminum melting processes; it is specifically designed for batch melting scenarios characterized by strict alloy composition requirements, discontinuous production, and large per-furnace capacities. Both the furnace exterior and the molten metal bath feature a rectangular parallelepiped structure.

The key features of this furnace type include:
Large furnace door design: The wide door opening facilitates direct charging of solid materials and dross skimming operations using forklifts or specialized charging equipment, significantly enhancing efficiency in both charging and cleaning.
Dead-zone-free melting: The rectangular bath structure eliminates the corner blind spots often found in circular furnaces; thorough cleaning of the bath surface accelerates dross skimming, minimizes the loss of molten aluminum carried away with the dross, and reduces overall metal loss.
Reduced facility investment: Compared to circular furnaces, rectangular furnaces have lower workshop height requirements, effectively lowering infrastructure construction costs.
Flexible capacity expansion: The rectangular design offers inherent advantages for capacity scaling; the furnace body can be proportionally lengthened or widened to flexibly meet production needs ranging from a few tons to over a hundred tons.
Thanks to these structural advantages, rectangular aluminum melting furnaces are widely used in the production of aluminum alloys involving small-to-medium batches and diverse product varieties.
